Drawing
Brush and Ink
These drawings are mostly done without any pre-sketches. A layer of coloured ink is used as a base and then black ink is added afterwards. Some of the drawings are done from life i.e. drawn from an existing object, artifact (like a sculpture in many cases) or person, and not from a reference image.
Ballpoint Pen
These drawings are mostly done without any pre-sketches. A ball-point pen is used to work directly onto paper. Most often a reference image is used to draw from. Different images from different sources are used to create a type of collage, forming a new meaning when used in that specific combination.
Figure Drawing
These drawings are done without any pre-sketches. Pencil is used in most cases. The drawings are done from life i.e. drawn from an existing model, and not from a reference image. The drawings are small, mostly A4 in size as they were done in a sketchbook which is more portable.
Pencil
These drawings are often done from reference images (photographs, paintings, sculptures or existing drawings). Here normal graphite pencil as well as coloured pencil is used. Different images are used as reference, for example, the human figure, objects, still lives, existing artworks et cetera.
